Situated in the heart of Teosto, the reporting team handles reports of music usage and transfers these onwards to the distribution team for remuneration of distributions for rightholders. My role is to support and guide our team in order to meet the needs and requirements of our rightholders.

The digital transformation is making a strong impact on the music industry. Our goal is to serve our customers in this changing environment. This is supported by offering our customers up to date services and enabling them to better utilize their music. Development tasks have included among other tasks, acceleration of distributions for our rightholders, ensuring Collective Right Management legislation compatibility, and Polaris level R&D collaboration.

Worked alongside the media sales department by supporting sales in developing online services for Sanoma's customers. The rapid transformation of the media industry provided interesting tasks to work in eCommerce development. The environment tought that development work must be prioritized in a lean fashion and, therefore agile development methods were increasingly important.

I worked within the electricity sales department supporting different sales units, reaching from consumer sales to large corporate customers. My work consisted of assessing different customer needs, conceptualizing them into services, and developing these for Helen's sales units. The work gave concrete customer feedback both in qualitative and quantitative measures.My tasks included, for example, setting up a reporting service (www.helen.fi/raportointi) for consumer and corporate customers.

Working at the R&D department of a global telecom operator gave an opportunity to study the future of customer behavior and needs. Building scenarios of the future and working to realize them with the help of customer feedback enabled us to envision the future.
