I was tasked to establish a local presence and responsible for the sales and operational aspects of the newly formed office. As the first employee for FactSet in Canada, it is a very diverse and hands-on role. + Development and implementation of national sales, go-to-market, and marketing strategies+ Analyzing trends and results.+ Projecting expected sales for existing and new products; effective pipeline management+ Implements national sales programs by developing a sales action plans.+ Maintains sales, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.+ Identify and define the value proposition and price accordingly+ Completion of national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees+ Maintaining national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees+ Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks+ Partner internally with marketing, product specialists, client services, product development and sales implementation teamsMy Skills and Qualifications for this role:Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Staffing
