About Bjørn Tore Sund

I have extensive experience with management of smaller technical project, good technical expertise, and understanding on a wide level of communications technologies. Main work projects of late have been crisis management on both the IT and general organisational level both structurally, organisationally and on a purely technical level with the CIM Crisis management system; and the IT and AV installations and the newly refurbished University of Bergen Museum of Natural History.I have spent a lot of years with Linux and Unix server and workstation management, doing large scale automated management. Among my specialities are integration of Unix and Windows services and authentication with a strong understanding of LDAP and Kerberos in various implementations, including Active Directory. I have several years of experience with mid- to large-scale system administration, doing structuring, scaling, and automation using both scripts and commercial tools, including automation of software distribution. I have also developed and worked with Mac OSX workstation management using much the same tools and procedures. Team and group management on a lower level for the last ten years.Extensive experience with negotiations, as well as with the laws and agreements regulation Norwegian work life, especially for public servants.Specialties: SIP, telephony, project management. Workstation and server management, negotiations, resource management. Adapting Linux servers/clients to Windows-based infrastructure.
