For over 10 years I have saved businesses money, reduced exposure to costly operational risks and helped management capture more revenue at higher margins. My value proposition includes evaluating two broader aspects of business, starting from the overarching controls of the board of directors, down to the operational level controls managed by line managers; through review of the entire business (i.e. processes, systems and people).These capabilities are the result of synergies between my core competencies in management processes and systems [including managing in a changing environment], strategic risk management techniques, evaluation of different business structures policy and regulations. The core competencies that I have to offer have been refined in corporate banking (Standard Chartered Bank), insurance (AIG) and operations (ANZ) roles, gained from multinational Banking and Financial Institutions in Australia and Sri Lanka. These competencies extend to my current philanthropic, investment and entrepreneurial projects, which have shaped me in becoming a trusted partner with the ability to foresee risks and recommend robust solutions for continuous enhancements.My skill set and theoretical subject matter expertise are supported by the following academic qualifications, a master’s degree in business management from Monash University and a bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of New South Wales.
