Utilize MS operating systems, networks, and HMI configuration software, including Intellution and Wonderware. • Act as project manager; receive contract documents and requirements to produce HMI application software and System Control Narrative using third-party development packages. • Perform set up of the servers, workstations, networks, operating systems, and peripheral equipment at each job site; conduct startup and testing and provide training. • Interface equipment to third-party vendor systems via industrial communication protocols.• Install all developed software and required vendor software; verify proper execution.• Ensure system functionality, including network and hardware operation, SCADA monitoring and control, data displays, alarms, and historical data collection. • Train operators, supervisors, and administrative personnel and provide technical assistance.

Responsible for programming HMI projects from start to finish; HMI template development, design, and maintenance, touch screen processor ghosting process development and maintenance, adjusting tag database/screens, setting up OPC software, configuring remote interfaces, and testing with the engineer during shop test. HMI template development, design, and maintenance across several software platforms such as RSView32, Factory Talk View, Vijeo Designer, and Wonderware. Mentored junior HMI programmers and new hires. Maintained documentation on all HMI Operations. • Produced HMI program for MGM Casino National Harbor; system consisted of medium voltage utility/gen boards with 5 low voltage sub boards downstream. Included a remote desktop setup and factory talk viewpoint web connection. Completed project successfully and on time.• Trained junior HMI programmers and new hires to improve competency and efficiency.• Discovered and isolated a software bug with Rockwell Software RSView32 platform. Developed a case with Rockwell and a patch was subsequently released with resolution; worked side-by-side with team to implement deployment plan for all related projects. • Worked with software vendor and engineering to develop and document process for converting old HMI programs to new platform, which included updating all tag addressing, OPC server, remote PC configuration and fully testing projects.
