-To Forecast, program, and plan major medical technology capital requirements for the University of Maryland Medical Center. -Initiate and participate in meetings with all levels of staff and various departments to compile data for medical technology requirements. -Develop and implement complex communication and fact-finding techniques to maximize clinician input and asset utilization while minimizing associated time and monetary commitments of the hospital. -Develop programmatic, multi-year technology requirements and plans based upon clinical utilization, operational requirements and data e.g., staffing needs, projected volumes, length and types of visits, maintenance, availability, reliability, etc. . -Develop project schedules and administer capital budgets for capital equipment projects, working with Facilities, Information Technology and other departments as needed.-Maintain professional growth and development through attending in-service training, external seminars, and activities/events to keep abreast of developments in the field.

Worked as a Medical Equipment Planner in Lata hospitals, India. Done all the Medical Equipment Planning for their New Tower which includes Planning for all their Cathlabs, OR’s, PACU, ICU’s, Ophthalmology Clinics and many patient Care Areas.Worked as a Clinical Engineer in VIZAG HEART CENTER, India. Worked on equipments like Cathlab (Digital subtraction system) CD recording station. Image point color Doppler, Heart lung machine, ECG, EEG, EMG, Computerized treadmill system, Ventilators, Multichannel pressure monitors, Ultrasound scanning. Assisted in various Surgeries like bypass surgery, open heart surgery, angioplasty, and all pathological tests.
