Information Technology Services, Telecommunications, Switchboard, and Community Partnerships

* Directed the operations of a large community hospital providing a wide range of emergency, critical, acute, emergency, in-patient and out-patient mental health and addiction services;* Strategic and Operational responsibility for Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Medicine Program, Finance, Human Resources, Information and Communication Technology, Capital Projects, Support Services (Engineering, Food Services, Hospitality, Security and Bio-Medical) and the Greater Niagara General Site:* Worked collaboratively with the Board of Trustees, physicians, management team, staff and volunteers to merge the operations of seven hospitals to create a single organization and work towards a unified philosophy, culture and achieve operational efficiency;* Lead the administrative and clinical leadership teams to create the Hospital Improvement Plan to consolidate clinical services and achieve balanced budget position;* Co-Chaired LHIN-wide laboratory initiative and represented the organization in Niagara Regional Municipal Transportation Sub-Committee and Immigrants’ Employment Council;* Co-Chair of the United Way Committee; ran the annual United Way Campaign and supported the NHS Foundations in their fundraising efforts;* Successfully launched Ontario's first “design build finance maintain” (DBFM) hospital – 375 beds, $750 million facility;* Planned and implemented a number of capital projects including: 15 stations dialysis satellite in Welland Site, 21 stations community-based dialysis satellite in Niagara Falls and energy retrofit;* Created the Regional Cancer Informatics Strategy;* Formed a strategic partnership with public sector organizations in Niagara to deliver fibre optic infrastructure to the region.
