Dr. Brandy Harris is an accomplished academic leader with a passion for affecting positive change in our cybersecurity workforce. With nearly 20 years of experience in education and almost a decade in technology education, Dr. Harris has a proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating cybersecurity programs. She possesses a strong understanding of industry-standard frameworks, tools and technologies, including network and application security, intrusion detection, and risk assessment. Dr. Harris holds three graduate degrees including a MS in Education, a MS in Cybersecurity, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership. She is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion for all students while being committed to academic excellence.She stays up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity through industry conferences and training, often conducting workshops on industry and academic partnerships, program development, and assessment. She also serves the NSA Center of Academic Excellence by mentoring institutions who are seeking programmatic designation and previously served as the WiCyS Phoenix affiliate secretary.
