CurrentCo-lead the Division of Independent Dispute Resolution with the Director, jointly managing a team of 11 staff, overseeing the assignment and performance of tasks.Lead policy advisor and subject matter expert for the No Surprises Act’s (NSA) Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process, managing all policy work related to the Consumer Support Group’s (CSG) work, including analyzing, interpreting, and implementing the NSA statutory provisions related to the Federal IDR process. Co-coordinate the finalization of the Federal IDR Operations Final Rule with one subordinate, managing a team of 15+ subject matter experts and 10+ contractors.Review and conduct detailed policy analyses on issues relevant to the Federal IDR process, including by other components of CCIIO, CMS, and external interested parties, drafting white papers and presenting recommendations to Division, Group, and Senior Leadership. Monitor key external issues, including litigation, that may impact the Federal IDR process, assessing risk, problem solving to adapt to shifting landscapes, and briefing leadership on any potential issues. Serve as consultant and advisor to the CSG Director and IDR Director on policies, procedures, and critical issues related to the Federal IDR process, including key priorities, budgetary, contracting, and staffing requirements. Direct the strategic planning and prioritization of short-term and long-term Division initiatives related to the Federal IDR process, coordinating across the team to build consensus on and implement all decisions. Develop networks with key individuals or groups to accomplish mission-related goals, both internally in CCIIO to coordinate on cross-cutting initiatives, and externally with interested parties to solicit feedback on policies and operations related to the Federal IDR process and disseminate new or revised information.
