Report system failures without delay to appropriate personnel.Ensure budget compliance, as well as, provide justification for variances between budgeted and actual expenditures.Objectives & Performance Management:Assist in establishing goals and measurable objectives for the Cross Dock operations. Investigations include; gathering bills of laden, packing list, calling carriers, working with Import/Export staff, and transportation companies to find out what happened to goods that have been handled by Offshore.Promptly report damages to good, anticipated or actual delays in shipments, and/or resource shortages in the cross dock.Assist in training new personnel.Participate in corrective actions and preventive actions as needed.Ensure that other department and clients receive prompt and accurate responses regarding arrival, receipt, inspection, staging, storage, and shipping of goods. Support and assist Cross Dock team members in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.Promptly report process failures, personnel productivity or lack thereof, and resource shortages.
