Additionally, there was modifications to an existing structure, the SDP, where I was responsible for the management of the demolition of 1200mm thick RC biological shielding walls with diamond wires, diamond drilling equipment and remotely operated demolition equipment, the Brokk. Working on a nuclear licensed site is very demanding and highly regulated with a high focus on both conventional and nuclear safety. I was part of a management team that achieved the site RE Departments 100% Audit score twice running achieving this status placed us top of the contractor league for safety. A highly respected position usually populated by companies who have worked in this environment for in excess of 10 years.Project 2:- The project involves widening of the M1 motorway near Nottingham from the north side of junction 25 to the south side of junction 28, about 23 km, from 3 to 4 lanes in each direction to provide additional capacity and reduce congestion.
