Oversight of all business construction operations including budgeting, KPI/Metrics, vendor negotiations, staff/team development, creating SOPs; Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies; Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to city contractors. • Planning, organizing, and managing our Lower Manhattan Roadway Reconstruction & Development Projects in the World Trade Center site and surrounding areas. • Providing design and blueprint review and analysis of project layouts. Rebuilding, installing, and maintaining the integrity of our natural gas, steam & electric utility infrastructure to engineering specifications and public safety. • Responding and assisting in emergencies such as damages, environmental, and safety issues. Responding to company-wide events, such as storm emergencies, heat alerts, system outages, feeder patrols, etc. • Responding to contractor damages and prepare damage investigation reports as required. • Preparation of construction reports, price negotiations and sub-contractor selection. • Responsible for all construction project budgets, KPI’s, account accrual's and forecasting's, contractor invoice payments & bill reconciliations. Oversee material purchasing, project scheduling, building code compliance, project development, quality control and certification of occupancy oversight. • Also, the utility representative and company liaison between all city and government agencies (DDC, EDC, DEP, DOT, LMCCC & Mayor's Office) for Con Edison
