About Brian Knudtson

I have not had a traditional IT career, which gives me a unique set of perspectives and skills that I apply to everything I do. I have worked on the customer side as a web developer and systems analyst; on the VAR side working with customers in both pre-sales and post-sales roles; and on the vendor and service provider side in technical marketing, market analysis, product management, and customer experience improvement. Communication, organization, problem solving, and cross-team collaboration have been skills successfully applied in these roles and have regularly led to successful leadership positions. I enjoy sharing my knowledge through one-on-one conversations, presentations to large or small audiences, podcasts and video, and through the written word. Current technical interests include disaster recovery, cloud computing, cybersecurity, sales enablement, process improvements, and automation/orchestration.
