Primary duties include managing and deploying cloud-based assets through Amazon Web Services. Specializations include running a multi-tiered network based around the development cycle, MSSQL clustering, Linux server management and maintenance, auditing and controlling VPN access, designing network infrastructure and routing, and interfacing with corporate management to help bridge the gap between software engineers and CXO mandates.Manage the internal corporate network in the local office while being liaison for managed IT providers in the other offices.Design and execute improvements to internal network infrastructure as well as deploy and maintaining several virtual hosts across several VLANs for our lab environments.Also assist, when necessary, on designing larger scale projects that exceed the standardized method for new sites.

Took on the IT Support Department and began managing the group as a whole in addition to the field technicians. Managed 8-12 individuals while still acting as a technical point of contact for special projects.

In addition to IT Engineering, I began coordinating a group of field techs. Created new processes for streamlining the Field Request pipeline. Audited and handled dispatch orders while being a liaison between the IT Engineering group and both employed and third party field services.

Assisted with end user support for proprietary software distributed to several hundred sites throughout the country. Developed best practices and documentation to enhance and standardize software and server deployment. Also served as a consultant for special projects requiring more complex setups such as SQL clustering, SAN, and VLAN infrastructure.
