Retired health care executive. Served as President and CEO of CADTH from 2009-2020 following a distinguished career as a pharmacist and health care executive with the Canadian military. With over 40 years of experience in health care, Brian is a leading expert in the science and practice of health technology assessment (HTA). He continues to play an active role in the global HTA community, serving as Chair of the HTA Steering Committee at the Centre for Innovation in Regulatory Science and is the 2023-24 President of ISPOR. In 2020, he was appointed Colonel Commandant (Honorary) of the Royal Canadian Medical Service.
