I'm a former Graphic Designer who moved into a Tech Support role for the Yearbook Division of a major publisher, who then fell backwards into a more focused role as a QA Engineer. After a short stint as a Software QA Engineer, I realized I missed the customers I used to help and really wanted to be their advocate. I started out working as an in-house Graphic Designer and Layout Artist for a public relations company. I mainly dealt with sponsorship-based programs, but also had a myriad of other design related duties that also included, but was not limited to, direct mail campaigns and designing various other sales kit materials. I tend to try mixing traditional artistic thinking with modern design elements.I am considered a well-rounded, eccentric, creative thinker who uses both sides of his brain to adapt his way of thinking to whatever a situation calls for. A favorite quote is, "the term 'minor detail' is an oxymoron". -anonymousI currently work for Varsity Yearboos, as a Marketing Analyst, where I build and deploy the revenue generating, marketing emails to customers and prospects. I am still in pursuit of a role in the realm of User Experience (UX) - something like a UX Analyst or UX Researcher.
