Alumni Advisory Board members serve three-year terms and support the Lamar University Office of Alumni Affairs in engaging Lamar alumni and community supporters with the university.Director Brian “Governor” Roberson, ’09 ’10, an educator and coach, teaches English at Cypress Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. He resides in the Houston area. While at Lamar, he was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, Student Government Association and a community assisting for the residence halls. Brian currently serves as President of the Zeta Psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He will never forget the years of great transition on Lamar’s campus while an undergraduate, with the additions of several residence halls, the new dining hall and the revival of the football team.
