Prior to ODU, I served as the Chapter Director for Sigma Pi Chapters at Ferris State University and Western Michigan University. Because of my work, I have been recognized with many awards including Western Michigan University's Golden Bronco for Student Organization Advisor of the Year (2002, 2004), Western Michigan University Greek Advisor of the Year (2003), Ferris State University Greek Advisor of the Year (2007), and the Donald K. Marchaund Outstanding Alumni Award at Old Dominion University in 2010. In 2014, I was awarded the NIC Alumni Award of Distinction for my dissertation research and my work as a Chapter Director.
