Pot Creek Pueblo is the largest Pueblo North of Santa Fe. The site contains to our knowledge, 9 roomblocks, a great Kiva and a main plaza. During this 2014 excavation I worked to excavate the Plaza floor as well as roomblock 905. Additionally I did analysis on ceramic artifacts found in the 2013 and 2014 season.

New Friends New Life is a faith-based non-profit organization whose mission is to restore and empower the lives of exploited and trafficked women, teens, and their children. Through this internship I participated in weekly staff meetings, managed their Facebook and Twitter accounts, wrote blogs for the website (linked), and assisted in planning for the annual Wings Luncheon, raising over $1 million. This was a wonderful and rewarding organization to work for.

A group of students and I worked with Project 7, an innovative social enterprise creating everyday good that give back to people, to create a campus representative program on college campuses. Skills I needed for the project:-Worked as a team-Created a campus rep manual for the company -Presented the project (public speaking)

After working two weeks on the floor at Nordstrom after graduating high school, I was quickly promoted to the operator position. There I quickly learned how to do the tasks my position required. As the youngest operator at the time of my employment, professionalism was needed in the work place in order to communicate and get along with the older women I worked with. At this job I learned skills to communicate quickly and efficiently with customers, organize information for the next day, make store announcements immediately after receiving information, work under a high stress situation (such as missing child, weapons in store, theft), and work a number of operating devices at the same time.
