• Manage two shifts of technical staff which entails instructing, assigning and reviewing work, acting on employee problems, appraising performance and recommending promotions discipline, termination and salary increases.• Generate technical machine instructions, training instructions and PM’s• Assist in electrical & mechanical trouble shooting.• Ensured operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and predictive maintenance requirements on mills, rubber mixers, auto claves, die presses, water jets, conveyor systems, boilers, HVAC, chillers and other various equipment following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. • Contact and schedule contractors; negotiate pricing, service agreements and annual maintenance contracts.• Oversee project planning and implementation. • Assist with TPM & 5s implementation, • Oversee energy savings programs such as lighting retrofits and insulation upgrades and more.
