As the RPM the main responsibility is keeping the members of the team safe. The objective of my role is to coach and teach predictive maintenance tools, strategies, corrective action, root cause, and preventive measures. Oversee the daily downtime window plan and execution. Working with the site planner to coordinate facility shut down jobs and task that will contribute to the facilities success. Provided support to the Storeroom clerk by out sourcing different vendors for parts lead time and cost. Developed SOPs for task criteria and procedures that techs can utilize when conducting their work orders.Accomplishments: • Managed the CBM system Waites and corrected the action items before the component failed preventing 37k hours of production loss equaling a cost savings of $970k.• Over saw pre-established IR and UE Routes PM’s and audit the work orders for potential couching or learning opportunity.• Created Air Leak Detection Route Program that generated a cost savings of $138k with the first sweep of the facility.• Conducted acceptance test for incoming rollers from OEM and Vendors• Established the PdM team with the fundamentals of using vibration, ultrasonic, and IR technologies and how to affectively use them.• Coordinated with local vendors to rebuild components resulting in a cost reduction of 15% to 40% of the original cost and reduced lead times by months verses the cost and lead time of the OEM.• Lead the IOQ team in run off qualification checks of precision alignment and tension for new equipment. • Preformed RnD studies of different predictive maintenance tools to find new device that the technicians have a convenient access to so they can continue to utilize their skills. • Responsible for RCA tracking and follow ups on Criticality 1 failed items and implement corrective action to prevent/ mitigate future failure.

The responsibilities of investigating and problem solving plant reliability issues utilizing WCM techniques and principles. Supported maintenance teams in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to provide an increase in availability and yield to the facilities. Provided leadership and support to increase throughput of plant modifications. Provided support in research, purchasing, logistics and maintenance of spare parts in on site store room. Develop detailed PM tasked to assist technicians on how to conduct work on equipment.Accomplishments:• Used WCM Principle to bring the Recycle System Operation from 8.74% to 11.32% • Increased availability of critical operation equipment from 78% to 100% in 3 months• Develop strategy and implemented wireless vibration/ temperature monitoring system • Trained technicians on using laser alignment tool to asset in PM activates• Captured and presented vibrational data of machine health to support funding and repair prioritization for equipment• Scoped out material and phase implantation of a new type insulation to apply to our grinding mill equipment. • Developed scope, repair timeline, and execution of major equipment repairs that were necessary to maintain plant operations• Managed multiple overall projects while coordinating with multiple vendors to complete repairs with in allotted time frame• Worked with vendors to conduct NDT test on all silos/ bins in the facility to priorities repairs and cost

Conduct daily safety meetings, communicated safety concerns/ issues to the maintenance team. Lead a team of 15 technicians, a storeroom attendant, a Maintenance Planner, and 2 Maintenance Supervisors. Conducted/ reviewed root cause analysis documentation from the last 24hrs and allocated resources to assist if needed. Reviewed weekly/ monthly maintenance KPI’s to understand department performance can be improved. Worked closely with the engineering department on area concerns and assisting with project recourses. Accomplishments:• Developed new safety processes/ procedures with the Safety Department to correct/ repair safety concerns within the facility.• Established training programs for mechanics and electricians to decrease the skills gap between technicians. • Developed roles and responsibilities for the maintenance supervisors and planner.• Reviewed/ provided assistance for prioritization and resources to Daily, Down Day, and Outage work schedule. • Provided technical expertise to the supervisors and technicians to assist them with resolving mechanical/ electrical issues impacting availability.• Coordinated with other department managers on maintenance prioritization to increase plant performance.• Initiated 5S of the maintenance shop to implement company safety standards and tool requirements.• Conducted WCM FI and PM Step projects to improve equipment reliability and increase plant availability.

• Contracted out maintenance technicians to address plant issues, while supervising their work to set the standards for proactive maintenance.• Developed the PM, the number one downtime actor, there was a gradual reduction of downtime by an average of 15% bi-weekly until the issues were resolved. • Co–led a $2.5 million equipment refurbishing and development component removal, inspection, storage, and reinstallation. • Identified equipment leading to quality problems, established and implemented a budgeted project of $193k. Developed project plan in 1 month, slated to take 7 days to correct the issues. After installation and testing the project was completed 3 days ahead of schedule and $11K under budget. • Project Managed capital projects from development to implement. • 5S a contaminated, safety, and environmental hazard lubrication storage and handling building. • Re-established the lubrication storage and handling building with world-class storage, dispensing, labeling, and handling in an organized profession. • Used vibration analysis to gather data that correlated to abnormalities in equipment to correct the issue before failure. • Used Inferred, Thermography, to locate mechanical and electrical issues before failure. • Used Ultrasonic technology to locate Energy loss and establish decibel baseline readings on components. • Developed cost savings reports related to PdM (Predictive Maintenance) findings and component upgrades based off downtime. • Created a route system showing the location of all equipment and identifying the PdM program (Vibration, IR, Ultra Sonic, and Lubrication) that can be performed at each location.
