Project managed various concurrent projects at multiple sites for Stockton Riverside College with the successful management of a £2 million improvement budget. (Nov ‘17 - Sept ‘18)3 month contract (extended to 10 months) - Providing Mechanical Site Management Services at the Quorn Foods production facilities in Billingham. This is a £1.4M mechanical design and build installation within a £56M project. The Principle Contractor is WSP. One year contract - As Project Manager I take the role of primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering engineering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance to specifications. Achieving these important goals requires defining the project requirements and scope, acquiring project resources, and supervising the efforts of project team members. I direct the in-house and field service technical team as they provide calibration, validation and technical repair services to varied clients including the Center of Disease Control, Cancer Research Centre and various large pharmaceutical laboratories. Raeyco can provide full service on virtually all traditional lab equipment from centrifuges to ultra-low freezers. We also have trained technicians on staff to help with non-traditional equipment such as HPLC's, GC's etc.Raeyco offers services such as calibrations, validations, equipment management and so much more. We operate under GMP conditions using NIST traceable standards. As project manager my responsibilities include managing large mechanical and electrical installations from initiation to close. Co-ordinating crews and sub-trades, managing materials flow to keep the project moving. During my time in this position I was successful in ensuring that all our work was completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.

I directed the in-house and field service technical team providing calibration, validation and technical repair services to a list of clients that included the Center of Disease Control, Cancer Research Centre as well as many various large pharmaceutical laboratories. I was responsible for the coordination of the service teams activities in order to provide prioritized technical support as appropriate. I would meet with management team members regularly to develop each team and improve and coordinate operations.I was principle in the initiative to develop and introduce KPI’s for office and field staff.

As the owner of the company I managed and directed mechanical projects including light commercial buildings and high-end residential buildings, managing simultaneous projects over several US States.I developed a marketing strategy to offer selected products to target markets, resulting in increased revenues. This involved setting up strategic partnerships with manufacturers and securing territories.To achieve success I realized the need to develop and implement a marketing plan, a communication strategy and corporate identity program. I did this and with and continual refinement I took the company from start up to over $1.2 million gross turnover in under 4 years.To track performance I developed organization process assets including templates, spreadsheets, cost performance, ROI's and referrals.I taught basic mechanical design classes at the Central University of New York.Mechanical solar thermal design.
