Provides vision and leadership in shaping Information and Technology plans and strategies to support the mission and goals of the College and develop policies for campus-wide technology. Recommends, evaluates, develops and implements support systems for the educational mission of the College; assists with strategic planning for the enhancement of academic, administrative and instructional systems; and serves as the liaison to external organizations for technology related issues. Serves on the President Cabinet. Co-leads College strategic planning with the Provost.

Sets and accomplishes a strategic vision for the College’s information and technology services and inspires the faculty and staff to take full advantage of technology. Having overall responsibility for the administration of a complex computing, telecommunications, networking and IT system used by students, faculty and staff, builds and develops a high-performing team of professionals who are customer focused and dedicated to the College’s strategic mission and objectives. • Advises the President, Cabinet and other senior leaders in identifying and executing opportunities that leverage technology for future College growth, including solutions that are sustainable and innovative to current College issues.• Ensures the highest level of student, faculty and staff satisfaction with information and technology, including regular communication with the College community regarding the latest technology developments on campus.• Develops and sustains a strong, cohesive, energetic and innovative staff. • Develops department, divisional and campus-wide operational policies for use and maintenance of information and technology with focus on higher education best practices, ensuring that resources are always mapped to the College’s changing needs.• Oversees the actions of all entities charged with providing information technology services, and collaborates with Cabinet members on formulation of centrally-managed IT services, strategies and policies.• Oversees the College’s technology property and assets, ensuring a reliable infrastructure and network communications that are responsive to users’ needs.• Develops a state of the art information and technology disaster recovery plan. Collaborates with the College’s crisis task force in setting and practicing the established plan. Safeguards the College’s technology and data/information integrity by establishing and enforcing security policies.

Team with a diverse group of leaders and experts from various U.S. government agencies, universities, think tanks, and corporations that identify and study the key policy questions surrounding cyber security. The particular focus is not just the internal parameters of the cyber issue, but its connection to U.S. diplomatic, commercial, and national security policy.

Served as Mission Project Director (Detachment Operations Officer for the Energy Systems Division at the Defense Intelligence Agency). Served as Battalion Commander Served as Project/Program Technology Officer (Company Commander) for engineering secure network infrastructure for remote intelligence teams (DIA, NGIC, NIMA).Received the Department of Defense Joint Meritorious Service Award from the Secretary of Defense for modernizing intelligence gathering and analysis techniques.
