About Ludovico Giammarino

I am a software developer since 10 years and more, geek and founder of a small mobile development company.I worked as a full-time iOS developer for more than 4 years and constantly keep myself up-to-date on Apple and iOS new development tools, languages, architectures and programming skills.My initial work experiences made me develop in C, C++, shell scripting and python mainly. I have been team leader and project manager on several projects, including embedded software and distributed system projects, ranging from 3 months projects to complete main business applications. Special focus was given on writing good and maintainable code, performances, multi/threading and code architectures.In the last 8 years I had the opportunity to work within several teams, leveraging the necessary interactions among them while conforming to the Agile/Scrum principles.My main skills can be summarized as follow: iOS and MacOS development in Objective-C and Swift, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Agile/Scrumm/Kanban process.As founder of a small mobile development company I also had the opportunity to keep up to date with the many existing tools related to iOS and Android development: in-house and cloud continuous integrations services, deployment services, code repository services, mobile analytics, cloud DBs, ...Moreover, I had to build and manage the actual development team, setting up the code reviewing process, the GIT workflow, the products release cycles, all within an Agile/Scrum process.
