I'm a graduate student from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, specializing in Statistics and Econometrics whose professional journey has primarily developed in the Fintech environment. Currently, I hold the position of Back Office Team Lead at Capital.com, where I serve as a line manager for a team of 7 highly professional agents.On a daily basis, I handle a variety of tasks, including procedure writing, team management, task delegation, schedule organization, Q&A sessions, one-on-one meetings and more. My expertise lies in KYC verification, onboarding new customers, resolving AML alerts(specific to our company), conducting Source of Funds reviews, ongoing monitoring of clients and their transactions, PEP and Adverse media client screening and ensuring compliance with CySEC, FCA and ASIC regulations. I've had the opportunity to work with clients worldwide, enhancing my proficiency in the field.I also have experience working with various PSPs, including but not limited to Safecharge, Stripe, PayPal, Worldpay, Truelayer, Checkout, Ecommpay, Credorax (Finaro) and Praxis. My level of professional understanding is gene, given that our Payments team primarily deals with them. My team specializes in different areas.On a personal note, I am proud of the fact that I have been a chess champion with my university team four times in a row and continue to play, albeit not at a professional level. In addition, my personal interests include weightlifting and travelling.With a sharp, analytical mind and a real enthusiasm for worldwide Compliance regulations and Anti Money Laundering, I am motivated to further take on challenges and expand my knowledge.
