As a dedicated Supervisor, I oversee payroll and inventory management while driving sales and ensuring efficient operations across multiple store locations. With a focus on team leadership and mentorship, I manage a dynamic team of 40 individuals spread across four different stores.

Currently serve as a member of the Birch Run Village Council as one of five elected board members. As a council member I oversee the Village's budget and review expenses; review the Village of Birch Run Police department; Zoning and Building and DPW. This work is in conjunction with working with our Village of Birch Run Manager to ensure a great community for current and future residents and businesses. Concurrently, I serve on the Village of Birch Run's DDA (Downtown Development Board). The Downtown Development Authority is a development agency responsible for many improvements in the downtown area of Birch Run. DDA projects have contributed greatly to the growth and development of our downtown. Using incremental property taxes collected from downtown properties, the DDA has financed many public improvements, which have led to unprecedented private investment. As Chairman of the Village of Birch Run DDA, I am also an ex officio of the Birch Run Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB)We maintain a viable relationship with the State of Michigan and Saginaw County.

Primarily responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing the sales, operations, asset protection and human resources functions of the store to ensure great customer experience and maximum profitability. Merchandising and restocking the selling floor within limited spacing. Work with business clients to create in-store orders for business-to-business sales. One of my main responsibilities is maintaining our Corelle department; this included working with our product allocators and company buyers to ensure that my store continued to have enough stock during known busy cycles so my store could meet customer demands. Continually work with the Birch Run Chamber and Visitors Board to build business-to-business sales. With the help of the Chamber, we started a 'WoW Wednesday' event that encompassed several local businesses that offered special discounts/promotions that were offered during the winter months of early 2015: this was supported by commercials; flyers; postcards; email newsletters. During this event, we have increased our traffic and sales to where the company is looking at expanding this to several other markets. As a member of the management team we helped fall in-line with our Company goals of ADT, UPT, Conversion and Sales, each year, and also raised our gross margin to district and company best. We also have maintained our shrink to a company best. Opening and closing; reconciliation of daily paperwork, customer service; visual standards, compliance of all policy and procedures; payroll; shipping and receiving and daily communications with corporate business partners. In a company of over 1000 employees, I was Employee of the Month in April 2017 and in July 2019. Managed stores in Birch Run, Howell and Byron Center. On request of the President of Stores I worked in one of Chicago stores to get them back on track, where I helped retrain on Merchandising and stockroom control.

Over saw the stores business as acting-Store manager. Helped open new outlet store locations in Great Lakes Mall; Denver, CO and Soma store in Birch Run, MI. Directly supervised a staff of 15 which saw a yearly inventory shrink of .34% - best in district and one of the best in company. Facilitates the daily operations of the store ensuring that the store is in working order and adequately maintained to ensure safe and efficient operations. Including but not limited to: Opening and closing; recruiting and hiring; reconciliation of daily paperwork; scheduling and payroll budget; customer service; development of associates; visual standards; inventory; compliance of all policy and procedures; shipping and receiving; daily communications with corporate business partners.
