Director of the Green Power Partnership, a national voluntary renewable electricity purchasing program. Grew the program to more than 1,500 partners from all sectors of the U.S. economy. Responsible for program strategy, policy development and operations, as well as for managing relationships with national green power supply industry. Served on program and/or organizing committees for National Renewable Energy Marketing Conference 2005-2014. Served as a judge for the national Green Power Leadership Awards 2005-2013.

Managed financial value outreach campaign for ENERGY STAR Buildings program. Completed beta evaluation of new financial performance indicators, launched working collaborations with socially-responsible investment firms, developed new messaging opportunities and talking points for ENERGY STAR partners. Produced a series of case studies and expanded partner success stories into previously-untapped financial news markets.

Responsible for contractor staff of five, budget planning and industry coordination. Initiated development of CD-ROM and web-based training capability.

Responsible for national recruitment and account management of key industries, including: builders, manufacturers; utilities, energy service companies, state and local governments and trade associations. Key activities included market assessment, strategic planning, outreach, program policy development, public presentations and media relations. Lead redevelopment and expansion of web page as well as shift to Internet delivery of primary program services and materials. Conducted energy efficiency and communications training for industry partners. Managed five contractor staff.

Served as Associate Director for the Passive Solar Industries Council (now the Sustainable Buildings Industries Council). Responsible for the Council's strategic planning and managed communications and marketing efforts, including: market assessment and outreach, development of a publications catalog, newsletter production, creation of web site. Managed national workshop training programs and negotiated industry co-sponsorships. Engineered market introduction of advanced-generation building energy design software.

Intern and legislative staff. Tracked energy and environmental issues for Southern California Congressman. Focused primarily on public lands issues, including the California Desert Protection Act. Duties included research, networking with local and national environmental organizations and legislative correspondence.
