Multiple-award winning executions, including two big-money Radio Mercury Awards, an ADDY, several RAP Awards, a Mobius, multiple Silver Microphones and a Tesla. Those trophies are all in a box somewhere. (They just take up space and need to be dusted, and generating ROI is a much bigger win anyway.)

Advertising and marketing support for leading manufacturer of cutting-edge automotive security and convenience systems. Included a trial by fire as producer of the company's CES presence, an exercise in juggling cats. (Before the event, the owner of the business said, "I don't have much faith in your ability to pull this off." I thought, Well, let's see how badly I can disappoint him. After it was over, he shook my hand, ate his words, and was greatly miffed when I went to work in radio.)

Sales & direct-mail marketing for high-end electronics boutique. I sold lots of loud things in heavy boxes to all kinds of people with all kinds of budgets and willingness to grind like crazy. Especially proud that nothing I sold ever exploded.

Advertising and PR for start-up retail ice cream maker in South Miami Beach Deco District. Radio, TV, PR and print campaigns on a zero-dollar budget. Made the occasional front-page headline. It was also the "Miami Vice" era, and Miami Beach was a big, colorful, crazy place to be. Exposure to various character-building criminal episodes included.

Work in production and location management for feature film, music video, TV commercial and industrial projects. Clients included major studios, independents, and major ad agencies. Most fun gig: shooting for eight days aboard a cruise ship. Most bizarre gig: scouting actual crack houses for a John Travolta movie you've never seen. Biggest surprise on a gig: being introduced to the culinary joys of fried chicken gizzards from Overtown by an officer in the Miami Police Department Film Division.

Delivery of ocean racing and cruising yachts around the North Atlantic, Caribbean and Mediterranean, and racing in grand prix events in the UK, Virgin Islands and New England. Two trans-Atlantic deliveries. Racing aboard various Nautor Swans and noted IOR maxi boats, including Condor, Volador, Royal Eagle, plus Nirvana in her record-breaking Fastnet campaign. As I recall, there was beer.
