I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver Business School with a degree with a dual emphasis in Finance and International Business. Some of my coursework includes Investment and Portfolio Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, International Financial Management and International Logistics I have completed a certificate in Commodities that included courses in the Foundations of Commodities, Survey of Financial and Commodities Derivatives, and Trading in Financial and Commodities Markets. I have a Bloomberg certification and am familiar with CQG Futures Trading Platform, and Morningstar Direct.My computer skills include Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skils and I have database experience with Microsoft Access.I am a Vice President with the CU Denver Finance Club and am a member of Gamma Iota Sigma. I participated in the CME Commodities Trading Challenge and was the Team Leader. We traded commodity, equity, interest rate, and foreign exchange futures. We also developed and back tested an algorithmic trading strategy.I enjoy skiing, fishing, and all of Colorado's great outdoor activities.
