-Provisioning of Spinnaker via Kubernetes within Google Container Engine.-Spinnaker contributor on GitHub.-Provisioning, installation, and configuration of multiple OpenShift clusters within the AWS cloud and on an on-premises cloud. -These OpenShift clusters were installed and configured using Ansible and paired together for High Availability/Disaster Recovery.-A full CI/CD stack was added to the OpenShift clusters and used to build, release and deploy a sample Java application using OpenShift within a Jenkins pipeline.-Configurable Jenkins slaves were set up to be auto-added by utilizing the Jenkins Swarm Plugin with OpenShift templates.

I was made Team Lead of the 5-man platform side of the contract, our main responsibilities include platform design and improvement.-Subject Matter Expert on DevOps/Agile practices and build, release, and deployment automation.Part of the 10 man cross-functional team responsible for achieving an approved process for 24-Hour production deployments via orchestrated release pipelines/trains.-Part of a two man team that designed an Ansible based deployment system while Enterprise-wide automation was being built out by other teams. -Presented at Jenkins User Conference 2015, utilizing Jenkins, Docker, and a handful of plugins/ideas. -Modified the presentation mentioned above for Senior leadership to help accelerate the client into the cutting edge of automation.-Maintain the CM/CI/CD system of 600+ Developers and Operations users, 2000+ Jenkins jobs, several thousand build artifacts, and 300 SCM repositories.-Recently redesigned the platform to support full disaster recovery/high availability. This involved a full migration of data with minimal downtime.-Automated around 30, system level maintenance tasks using Bash/Powershell within Jenkins. This allows scaling of the platform to be increasingly automated.-Routinely consulted on difficult problems and culture changing ideas due to my cross-cutting experience.-Wrote custom Jenkins plugins to support the processes needed by USPTO to support their DevOps procedures.

At IXI, we built a suite of financial modeling software that helped advertisers refine their ad targeting. Our customers included twenty of the top twenty-five financial institutions and several international sales services. Using a mix of batch and real-time offerings. Processing several terabytes of data and 40+ million requests a day.-Developed a java library that improved our real-time financial scoring success rate to nearly 100%.-Created a pure JavaScript/HTML page that allowed clients to create and manage their analytic sales campaigns via AJAX calls to a RESTful APIs .-Designed and implemented a Continuous Integration and Release system using Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, and Nexus, that provided automated code quality analysis and one-click deployments, further reducing the man hours required by half.-Implemented Two-Factor authentication for our software suite using SQL Server, ExtJS/HTML and RESTful web-services providing XML and JSON returns.-Created a Node.JS proxy and Distributed-DNS scheme that allowed developers to minimize local service/application dependency overhead while developing code for support of the microservices development.-Created a custom plug-in, written in Java, for Jenkins integration in our deployment scheme, allowing for automated deployment and configuration in about 20 seconds, freeing up OPS time by a factor of 3.-Participated in Agile processes, with week-long sprints, sprint retrospectives, Agile workshops, and contributed to a streamlined work-flow utilizing DevOps principles, allowing for more development time.-Redesigned existing interconnected software suites into a more scalable form, reducing scaling efforts with near-zero down time/risk, while minimizing the complexity of handling properties.-Scrum Master for the enhancement team, responsible for evaluating and implementing improvements to architecture, processes, and code.

Assumed many of the Test and Integration Lead's responsibilities leading up to and after predecessor's move. -Experience in several distributions of Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, and Fedora predominantly) as well as most releases of Windows.-Frequently interfaced with customers and project integrators.-Debugged issues as they arose using programming background to gather as much relevant data as possible.-Rewrote installation and test documentation as projects grew and changed.-Designed and implemented tools built around specific software needs in multiple languages and standards.-Pushed for continued updating of the testing process by introducing new tools and techniques.-Installed and maintained several third-party applications including, but not limited to PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss on a regular basis.-Most used languages: Java, Bash, Perl, C/C++
