I'm a highly driven individual who has an interest in the work of the Emergency Services and more specifically I have a keen interest in joint working between services (JESIP).Currently, I have worked almost 3 years as an Emergency Call Handler for the East of England Ambulance Service. I am thrilled to be working with such a dedicated and passionate team, who work tirelessly to help others. The support and communication in EOC is fantastic! I was appointed as Medical Lead for Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue (NORLSAR) to instigate more in-depth organisation of the 'department' and improve training for all team members.I have always had a passion for helping people without judgment or prejudice. I have a quick-thinking mindset and engage in problem-solving very well. For my role at the Afghan Refugee Rest Centre in August 2021; as an Operational Team Leader, I was awarded the Young Humanitarian Award by the British Red Cross. Managers and peers have complimented me on my ability to help those in crisis and do so with great professionalism and empathy.
