Blain Skinner launched Blain Skinner Consulting to leverage his extensive network of over 40 years of experience and diverse skills to position companies to develop and/or expand their footprint in the sports and entertainment industry. His services include initial pitch development, activation, and service management of partnerships that generate revenue, all while enhancing the fan experience. Blain Skinner Consulting has had the privilege of serving several esteemed clients in the past and present, including Mobilitie/Boldyn, Pivot Agency, CounterTEN, RestorAir, and Legends of Sport. Skinner brings a wealth of experience, having worked as an executive for the Los Angeles Lakers for 38 seasons. He retired as the team's Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships & Client Management in November 2019. Skinner joined California Sports, Inc. in 1982, the parent company that owned The Forum (a.k.a. the Great Western Forum), the Lakers, Kings, Strings, Lazers, and various other sports and entertainment properties. During his tenure, Skinner's responsibilities included sponsorship/partnership sales. Besides his professional achievements, Skinner is also actively involved in various organizations that aim to enhance the sporting experience for youths in underserved communities. He is a Board Member of Westcoast Sports Associates (WSA) and Orange County Youth Sports Foundation (OCYSF). He serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Orange County Sports Commission and of Dunk MS, a non-profit devoted to finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and supporting those affected. Skinner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California, which he received in 1982.
