Blair’s energy and enthusiasm for nutrition originally developed out of her own recovery journey toward positive body image and self-acceptance. Though she’d always loved cooking and food, she went to Ole Miss with an art scholarship, later discovering a field that lent itself to her ideal balance of creativity, science, critical thinking, and connection. After earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Mississippi, she began her career as a Registered Dietitian in medical nutrition therapy with Methodist Healthcare’s Transplant Institute, later becoming Lead Clinical Dietitian at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. She entered private practice with Schilling Nutrition Therapy in 2014, and from there, co-founded Memphis Nutrition Group in 2016. In 2019, Blair was honored to be named Emerging Dietetic Leader by the Memphis Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She has an expansive knowledge of nutrition sciences, practical cooking, and sustainable health and appreciates the power of food to bring physical, social, and emotional nourishment to the table, even on the busiest of days.Blair’s specialty certifications include:- Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD)- Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Supervisor (CEDRD-S)- Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD): Blair is the only CSSD in the greater Memphis area.- Certified Intuitive Eating CounselorWhen she isn’t working, you can find Blair with her husband and 3 little ones, in the kitchen, out for a run, or planning the next get-together, home décor project, or vacation.Blair enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.
