As a Communication undergraduate major I have learned a lot about communicating whether it is interpersonal, cultural or media communication. I am eager to learn new knowledge, interact with new people and fulfill a passion of mine. I hope to be able to continue my interest in communication by pursing my masters degree in Speech Pathology. The ability to communicate and communicate effectively is something so many of us take for granted. I have shadowed a Speech Pathologist at Wake Forest Baptist Health in the stroke and heart attack unit as well as shadowing a full summer at a pediatric private practice office. These experiences have helped to grow my determination to pursue the Speech Pathology field.
