My career aspirations are to educate and influence medical professionals to ultimately improve patient outcomes. I have a wealth of experience influencing patient care by liaising with healthcare professionals to communicate clinical and scientific literature. I have served as the clinical pharmacist on multiple interdisciplinary teams, providing regular updates on scientific evidence and guidelines, and responding to drug information inquires. I have presented numerous continuing education presentations at the local, state, and national level.As a self-starter, I have a proven track record of developing new clinical practice sites where a clinical pharmacist had previously not been part of the team. This requires cultivating long-term relationships with health-care providers, developing and executing protocols, and proving to be a valued asset. I stay up to date with evidence-based practice and enjoy keeping others apprised of the clinical data. I enjoy getting to know people on a personal level and being able to advance clinical practice.
