Postgraduate researcher under the supervision of Professor William J. Kerr in the area of metal-catalysed hydrogen isotope exchange and allylic etherification. In collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline, as part of the Prosperity Partnership.

Demonstrator for 1st year general practical chemistry, in addition to hosting online help sessions. Demonstrator within the 2nd and 3rd year preparative (inorganic and organic) chemistry laboratory, to aid the development of undergraduate students practical skills, and mark lab reports. >90 demonstrating hours.

Supervised two MSci undergraduate projects in the Kerr research group, as well as proposing and supervising a project undertaken by a summer student. The MSci projects were centred around peptide synthesis and the construction of C(sp3)-rich scaffolds.

Situated within GSK Global Research & Development, Stevenage, embedded within the Isotope and Process Chemistry departments, as part of the GSK Drug Substance Development (DSD) team. Worked on methodology development, utilising high-throughput equipment, glove-box techniques, automated column chromatography and chiral HPLC analysis.

Industrial placement student at Enva - working on process-scale chemical management and quality control.
