I've been plucking strings since my late teens, when I practically lived at Strings & Things in Memphis, TN. I adore Blues & soul, the Black roots of rock n roll, but you'll find me blasting a bassline and screamsinging in a punk/garage band. Past bands include Sumpumps, SABABA, Sleep Tank, and Just Fabulous. I also adore adding analogue basslines to electronic music.

Acting for Animators

DNB Girls is a nonprofit collective of North American female, trans & nonbinary djs, MCs, vocalists and producers. I establish and maintain cross-collective connections in the music industry, electronically and IRL, while pushing for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ equity and leadership in electronic music.

Bartended a spectrum of events, from all-day conventions to all-night raves. Worked with one-night-only drink menus and contrasting clientele, and often bartended Knockdown's VIP/green room. Actively practiced sensitivity to Queerness, ethnic origins, and disabilities. Responsible for register and inventory.

First bartender hired at a high-volume music venue to prep for soft and grand openings. Consultant for bars’ design and organization. Worked with Oslo Roasters to set up a bare-bones, high-quality coffee program. Kept bar A-rated through multiple DOH inspections.

As part of the 5-member team behind Natural Selection, I fostered the series as it grew from a small party to a consistently high-quality event featuring artists on the forefront of progressive breakbeat music.

Carbon Based Beats was a limited monthly residency at Tammany Hall, which ended with TH’s closing. We formed CBB as a free event showcasing emerging talent. I managed each event’s operations as talent buyer and venue liaison, hired graphic design, managed email list and social media, and collaborated with other local events.
