Patients deserve the best care possible, regardless of the cost, and our current healthcare system fails patients and staff far too often. In my professional life, I have often been thrust into positions that require revision and streamlining, and my long term goal is to help healthcare move toward evidence based, patient centered care. I am fascinated by human behavior and thrive in situations where I can integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience. My nursing interests include critical care, public health, health education, and women's health. Nursing also provides an endless opportunity for learning and growing in the field. I am excited to consistently evolve my practice to improve patient care and to grow personally and professionally.
