I am a Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in mechatronics from the University of British Columbia. I have two years of co-op work experience in biomedical and product development environments and five years of work experience as a Mechanical Test Engineer.I am currently employed at Kardium located in Burnaby B.C. where I design and execute mechanical tests on biomedical devices. Kardium’s Globe Catheter system has recently commercialized with the first several cases underway in Europe. I am supporting the design and manufacturing teams to ensure that the device meets stringent quality standards by performing design verification tests and process validation tests including operation and performance qualification.https://kardium.com/I was previously the structure sub-team lead for UBC Orbit. Since graduating from my undergraduate degree at UBC, I am now an advisor for UBC Orbit, a student design team working on a 3U CubeSat mission to provide a platform to take high-resolution pictures for on-board image processing and rapid data transfer to Earth, with applications to forest fire detection and monitoring and agricultural analysis.
