For more than a decade, Blair devoted a lot of his time getting involved with or starting a range of technology start ups.His entrepreneurial journey began when he was approached by Exonet Business Software to work as a Channel Sales Manager to expand the business across Australia and New Zealand.Soon after the company was acquired by MYOB, Blair led the first online business application project and as a result, became high in demand and was once again headhunted. This time, by Amstal Capital partners to take over the strategic direction of 5 technology startups.After creating a successful path for each venture, Amstal offered him the position of Managing Director at their company Rype Technologies.Blair managed to identify organisation’s lack of technology awareness, especially in a rapidly changing landscape and saw the opportunity for improvement. With the timing right, Blair launched his own consultancy firm focusing on Microsoft solutions, known today as Walkerscott.

Ernst & Young is a global professional services firm whose primary goal is to help companies make key business decisions through the provision of relevant accounting information.With a specific focus on providing assurance, tax, consulting and advisory services to a multitude of industries, worldwide.Over decades, Ernst & Young have won multiple awards including being awarded Leaders in Workplace Gender Equality and the Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise in 2018 alone.As a Software Consultant, Blair’s responsibilities included implementing and upgrading accounting and business software solutions for clients.From his experience at Ernst & Young, Blair was approached by Exonet Business Software to be employed as a Channel Sales Manager to help direct the company’s expansion into new markets.
