I wore multiple technical hats at Iconergy, doing project management, performing Technical Energy Audits (TEA) for performance contracts, and re-commissioning and doing energy audits. We do work at industrial, government, and commercial buildings.Highlights of the work:-Re-commissioning 6 buildings at the Denver Federal Center.-Performed energy audits and "Level 1+" re-commissioning at a national company's commercial buildings.-Supported building modeling using Trane TRACE for a TEA with a Federal complex.-Performed a TEA at an industrial facility, including optimizing process heating, heat recovery, compressed air, other process improvements, as well as HVAC and lighting improvements.

Partnered with the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Program to implement a Profitable Sustainability Initiative, funded through Department of Commerce grant. For the energy efficiency work resulting from that Initiative, I was the primary engineer who performed energy efficiency investigations, developed conceptual designs, performed calculations, and wrote reports for a variety of small to large industrial clients. Clients include glass, metal, and plastic operations, foundries, heat treating operations, food processing facilities, and others. Performed detailed investigations of facilities and systems, including compressed air, process heating, lighting, HVAC, heat recovery, fans, pumps, etc.Performed retrocommissioning for two Veterans Administration hospitals, a $1.4 million project. My work including detailed site investigations, Building Automation System (BAS) and data logger trending, trend analyses, system performance testing, air compressor and ventilation studies.

As a Senior Project Engineer, I mostly performed contracted work for a utility to provide services for one of their demand-side management programs. I performed ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits and calculated project savings to determine energy reductions, cost-effectiveness, customer savings, and custom incentive amounts.

Investigated mobility and its sustainability in the United States by performing a thorough literature review, evaluating published predictions and models, and developing a model to evaluate the different approaches that could achieve sustainability in greenhouse gas emissions for the mobility sector.Updated fact sheets on the sustainability of various topics, mainly using information from the Department of Energy.
