Blaise has a passion for education technology and a desire to make learning engaging and accessible for all ages. He applies his expertise of technology diffusion by working closely with educators to develop learning experiences and resources that will support their successful implementation of new teaching tools. He is fascinated by all forms of interactive media, and can typically be found experimenting with how gaming experiences can enhance the learning environment. In his previous role as a Program Manager of Learning Technologies and Esports with Fair Chance Learning, he facilitated learning experiences across North America, using tools such as Unreal Engine, Minecraft Education, and EarSketch to engage with educators and grow both games-based learning, and scholastic esports in the classroom.In his current role as an Education Content Creator with Cleverlike Studios, he is at the forefront of student engagement by creating immersive learning experiences using popular video games. He and his awesome team of experts, ranging from learning experience designers to game developers, reimagine games to scaffold students from players to creators. Their mission is to provide students with the tools and skillset necessary to confidently navigate interactive 3D spaces, and develop their own content; contributing to a career-ready toolkit of digital competencies.Blaise also works closely with the leading bodies in scholastic esports through his position as Director of Industry Partnership with the Ontario School Esports Association. It's his goal to create a network of schools and organizations that promote the growth of esports in education from K-12, to post-secondary and onwards.
