Focusing on long-term value and ESG, betterGround was born to improve sustainability standards in global nut production and launching the company required carbon pricing research, carbon cost transparency to consumers, and supply chain traceability. Building and maintaining business with UK and EU producers and agribusinesses has led to partnerships with members of the Kentish Cobnut Association to develop a long-term strategy in the face of changing climate in the post-Brexit world. Initiated calls with climate researchers, global agribusiness firms, farmer cooperatives and ingredient processors to reach favorable terms for launching eco-conscious products in the UK with competitive price and on schedule. Created production possibilities and revenue projections in Excel.

Within the Health Equity Institute, serves as the primary point of contact responsible for planning, strategizing, and orchestrating COVID-19 response operations as well as recovery and resilience planning in communities and among populations adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The position is critical to ensuring health equity is prioritized across all internal RIDOH response, recovery, and resilience planning initiatives and remains in the forefront of cross-collaborative efforts among state, local, and community stakeholders.

As a bilingual project manager for the City’s COVID-19 Response, directed outreach strategy and clinical operations. Collected data with Brown School of Public Health to analyze social behavior and complexities driving COVID-19 cases. Improving patient access, ensured provision of nearly 10,000 vaccines. Liaised with broad societal groups and businesses while conducting interviews to plan for large federal fund usage (ARPA). Built capacity for equity and access-focused programs rapidly during crisis to improve sustainability in healthcare. Worked with RI Department of Health Staff and Health Equity Zone organizations to generate strategy and respond to COVID-19 outbreaks. Served on the COVID-19 Health Equity Council chaired by by the RI Lieutenant Governor.

The Economic Development Commission is charged with studying ways in which the Town can better serve local businesses and promote Barrington as a business-friendly community.

The Committee advises the Barrington Town Council on short- and long-term strategies to promote energy efficiency, creating savings and reducing the environmental impact of town energy usage through conservation and the use of sustainable energy resources. The Committee provides education outreach and assistance to the citizens of Barrington in attaining these objectives.Personal specialties include circular economy development and resilience plan enhancement to mitigate and reduce the effects of climate change in our coastal community.

Coordinated constituent concerns and worked on a variety of office projects from improving local Service Academy nomination processes to addressing both local and global environmental concerns.

Helping develop and improve organization structure, bylaws, and business processes while diversifying revenue streams and a holistic nonprofit portfolio. Harnessing the power of local networks and community engagement to expand the reach of our educational programs on the intersection of agriculture, public health, and environment in the urban and suburban setting.

Collaborated with department managers to prepare student accounts for financial award and disbursement. Reviewed financial aid documents for correctness and digitally filed under student profiles, while adhering to strict standards such as FERPA. Learned about working in a large public institution and and federal regulation.

Developed and maintained mutually beneficial relationships with 501c3 clients such as Habitat for Humanity, UNICEF, NPR, and the American Cancer Society. Managed phone calls from vehicle donors and coordinated vehicle pick up and sale between various towers and automobile sale facilities. Informed owners on how to properly and legally transfer their car and instructed them on procedures for claiming the donation as a tax deduction. Cooperated with managers and company owner to redesign workplace for increased efficiency and productivity.
