Entertaining people. It’s always been my thing. When I was 17 I won a comedy award. I tried my hand at stand-up after finishing high school, but apparently jokes I made in high school don’t translate to an adult audience. Who knew?Now I entertain a little differently. In 2002 I started working at Strike Bowling Bar as Marketing manager and within three years, I successfully launched five venues across Australia. The next few years were a bit of a whirlwind. I worked in London as Sales Director for London Clubs International, helped launch four new casino concepts across the UK.I returned to Strike which later became Funlab as Chief Operating Officer, the new parent company. We launched 14 more venues and had a bundle of fun along the way. We acquired the Australian rights to Sky Zone – the world’s biggest trampoline park – and introduced anti-gravity fun across the Eastern seaboard. We opened Australia's first mini golf bar, Holey Moley Golf Club and have 26 venues and counting. We continue to work hard in our lab to create new and exciting entertainment concepts.Throughout my career, I’ve developed and harnessed skills in marketing, strategy, sales, recruiting, mentoring, innovation, leadership training and operational efficiency. I’ve turned driving revenue into my greatest skill and one that underpins the key focus of my role. I work hard. I am driven. I will do whatever it takes to get the job done. It took me 13 years to graduate from university but I got there. I have a fascination with economics, which figures, really. Today at Funlab, we have 45 venues in Australia, New Zealand & Singapore across Strike, Sky Zone, Holey Moley, Archie Brothers Cirque Electric, B.Lucky & Sons, Jukes Karaoke Bar & Red Herring Escape Rooms.At Funlab we give people awesome one-stop entertainment destinations, and in return Funlab gives me the opportunity to nurture my greatest passion every day.
