- Instruct adult learners across the U.S. and internationally who take the online-only Professional Technical Writing (PTW) certificate program at UW's Professional and Continuing Education (PCE).

- Collaborated with a third-party vendor to develop Microsoft Professional Program (MPP) courses (Data Science, Foundations of AI) using Open edX and Canvas LMS. Reviewed and tested course content, navigation, and assessment functionality in Open edX.- Designed 11 courses in AI and Robotics (levels 100-400) for a new bachelor's degree program, using ADDIE and components from several Open Educational Resources (OER), such as MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW). This degree program aligned with the college's strategy to provide next-generation technology training.- Designed and developed instructional materials and performance improvement strategies based on Bloom’s taxonomy, UDL, PBL, QM rubric, and Adult Learning Theory. Prepared presentations, worksheets, case studies, job aids, infographics, and formative and summative assessments. Course modalities included hybrid, fully online, and ILT/VILT.- Teamed with instructors and Program Director to develop criteria, rubrics, activities, and analytics for 6 certificate programs in 6 months using a modified Agile methodology. Established instructional standards, templates, training strategy objectives, and performance outcomes. Used innovative approaches, such as flipped learning and publisher-managed content, to convert classroom-based to online courses. - Provided instructional design, administrative, and technical support for an online healthcare data analytics course with almost 2,000 enrollments. Generated approximately $140,000 for the division. Created an Excel application to analyze and report on competency levels and completions. - To prepare the division for remote learning, launched a self-paced online workshop that introduced 1,800 students to remote learning options. Trained over 40 instructors in remote teaching techniques. - Adapted the Instructor Handbook to create online Instructor Onboarding training, experimenting with animation, video production, video editing, and closed captions.

- Piloted the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Project Coordinator position. Applied knowledge of instructional system design, content creation, education technology, and PBL techniques to transform the 9-member cohort into knowledgeable advocates of UDL and accessibility within their respective departments. - Designed, launched, and facilitated Train the Trainer sessions for the Accessibility Basics for Word and PowerPoint Workshop and the Copyright Workshop. The Copyright Workshop has been in continuous use for 7 years.- Member of the Advisory Committee to redesign the VILT Technical Writing Certificate curriculum. Developed the instructional design, reduced duration from 8 months to 15 weeks, and updated activities and assessments. Enrollments and completions increased 42%.- Taught both fully-online and classroom courses in the Technical Writing curriculum, including Fundamentals of Technical Writing, Fundamentals of Document Design, Creating Style Guides, Fundamentals of Marketing Communication, and Writing White Papers.

- Provided technical and project controls for human health and ecological risk assessment deliverables for industrial clients and government agencies, including calculation of risk and hazard estimates, use of the Johnson & Ettinger (J&E) Vapor Intrusion Model, and development of complex spreadsheet models. - Collaboratively managed a team of 5 risk assessors to meet deadlines for a multi-year, $1.2M risk report. Managed document production schedules and resources; prepared proposals, reports, work plans, technical papers, and cost estimates; and collaborated with authors.- Provided project controls and document management support for major national and international hydroelectric power projects. Assisted with planning, preparation, and production of reports, engineering specifications, and supporting documents. - Authored the draft version of a Vapor Intrusion to Indoor Air Modeling report for a major electric utility, including use of the Johnson & Ettinger Vapor Intrusion Model to evaluate the vapor intrusion pathway into buildings.

- Managed a team of SMEs for SQL Server, Access, and Visual FoxPro to create Knowledge Base (KB) articles.- Collaborated with a team of Content Managers and Content Editors to develop and present training for an internally built XML-based content management tool to more than 30 Developer Support Professionals.

- Member of a five-person team that successfully integrated Developer Support professionals in Product Groups to streamline communication about new products and technologies. Preemptively ensured that support teams have the information necessary to help customers.- Authored white papers or briefs describing new technologies, assessed potential impacts to Developer Support, and identified probable support requirements.

- Provided electronic technical support to Visual FoxPro developers. - Trained and managed Visual FoxPro SMEs in development of the Visual FoxPro KB. - Coordinated KB article creation with a remote Visual FoxPro support team.- Managed and mentored a team of SMEs in technical writing skills to create customer-relevant Knowledge Base (KB) articles. Resulted in publication of more than 300 Visual FoxPro KB articles in less than 1 year.
