In the Earth Science Division at NASA HQ, I assisted Earth Surface and Interior (ESI) Focus Area program management by drafting solicitations and facilitating reviews, engaging with the solid-Earth community through workshop and meeting organization and participation and liaising with communication staff to highlight ESI research.

Research focused on the impact of climate change on ice-covered northern inland waters from alterations to biogeochemical processes to consequences for society.

Research focusing on the impact of climate change on greenhouse gas emissions from inland waters with particular emphasis on the changes in ice-cover duration. Duties included journal publications, conference presentations, grant writing, collaborative research efforts, teaching and supervision of students.

Implementing environmental educational programs to school groups and visitors at the museum.

Summer field experience conducting climate change research in the permafrost-dominated Kolyma River watershed. I was a student participant in 2009 and returned in 2010 as a student mentor.

Assisted in travel and program preparation and facilitation of month long summer course abroad
