Bertero is an undergraduate at Georgetown University in the School of Foreign Service studying Culture and Politics. They have worked on campus with Georgetown Ventures, a start up accelerator to synthesize brand identities and develop digital and physical assets for a diverse range of financial, health, and social consumption companies. They have been honing their skills in design positions within Bossier, an intersectional feminist magazine that highlights marginalized voices and celebrates expression. Additionally, they are the Graphic Designer for the only on campus International Affairs magazine, the Caravel, working to visually communicate the plethora of topics featured. Additionally Bertero works for Georgetown Campus Recreation on their marketing team to advertise events and opportunities and engage the community accross their social media platforms. Outside of their design work, Bertero is captain of the Women's club squash team and loves to share their love of the sport with new and returning players. This spring they will be walking in Diamanté a fashion show that features designer sfrom all over the DMV and celebrates the talent of students of color.
