While growing up, I experienced tremendous growth in northwest Houston. Highway 290 was completed and expanded, neighborhoods constructed, and business parks developed. The construction of 290 inspired me to earn a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. For the past nine years, I have worked as a Project Manager in Structural Engineering. I specialize in concrete tilt wall buildings for commercial and Industrial developments. I work closely with our engineers and outside consultants (architects, owners and contractors) to develop new buildings.I coordinate the architectural drawings to develop the structural drawings. I use Revit to produce the BIM (building information model) to created the plans, sections, and elevations. I make corrections as noted by our our engineers. I review submittals (concrete reinforcing drawings, steel fabrication drawings, joist and girder drawings, etc.). I will perform site inspections as needed.I have persisted in the transition to using Revit, after be lifelong AutoCAD user. In addition to Revit, I am experienced in using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Procore. I have a fundamental background in Bentley RAM Design and Solidworks.
