About Blake Blair

I have harbored a lifelong passion for design. I earned my BFA in Accessories Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I was classically trained in handbag and SLG construction. While at SCAD, I also gained invaluable experience in overseas factory management and processes during my studies in Hong Kong and China.My professional journey commenced at UGG, where I was instrumental in designing and developing handbags and SLGs for both in-line and collaborative projects with renowned artists such as Claire Tabouret and Telfar.In 2021, I was appointed as the Creative Director for the automotive-influenced brand CURRUS. In just two years, I successfully established a full domestic supply chain while spearheading all aspects of collection design. I also solidified a brand partnership with the Petersen Automotive Museum.Currently, I lead the Accessories division for NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook's brand, HONOR THE GIFT.

    Successfully launched the first fully merchandised accessories collection for the brand. Designed and developed cohesive gender-specific collections in collaboration with Creative Director Russell Westbrook and the Women's and Men's Ready-to-Wear teams. The product range includes specialty games and homeware, handbags and small leather goods (SLG), hosiery, and headwear. Managed the sourcing process and worked directly with overseas manufacturers throughout all development stages, from initial sample creation to bulk production.
