Bartending gave me experiences I thought I'd never have. These being from basically anything, running into your basic restaurant problems, working with customers, and making sure everyone is having an enjoyable time. The best part about bartending at such a young age is you obviously see much older people than you and often the time you strike up a conversation with them. Countless, I mean countless times, I'd ask for such a young guy like me what's the best of advice you'd give me. I found this fascinating, because yes some of the replies I'd get would be rather similar, but often the time they were different. Some people telling me go all over, experience everything you possibly can while you still can, to love what you do and love who you become. Yes, there's some grey space in there with answer, but I don't want to bore you to death. Overall, this gave me great connections with people all over the state and neighboring places, talking to people about my job field and where I can go, and how to grow as a person.

Being a guest service worker gave me an experience of hand on problems that I'd have to deal with right then and there. This brought me an opportunity for networking meeting new people everyday. The main focal point of this position was to make it appear that everyone was having a fantastic time and if there was anything anyone needed, I was the person to come to. Although, most importantly, I was basically the manager there and dealt with day to day activities, such working with customers, promoting our activities and products, and handling with some financial records over the years.
